Joya Franken - Paraveterinair

In 2013 I graduated as a Paraveterinary Veterinarian. Besides my work at the practice, I take care of cats at home during the owner's holiday and I am a behaviour consultant for cats.

In recent years I have specialised in the behaviour of cats, diabetes and kidney problems, and in addition to being an internship supervisor I am also an examiner for students graduating in the animal sector.

You will find me most often behind the counter and in the treatment room. This is where I would like to further expand my knowledge in the coming years.
After all, there is nothing better than helping people and animals!

I grew up with animals around me and was always busy with them. The fact that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up was no surprise to my parents.

I live with my partner and our 3 cats and 2 dogs.
Our "pack" consists of: 1 British Shorthair named Timon, 2 domestic cats named Truus and Lola, a cross mini Pincher named Pitufa and the Labrador Dalmatian cross named Niya.
