Veterinary practice Laakkwartier

Emergency aid

Through cooperation with the veterinarians in the region, a veterinarian is available to our clients day and night. You can read more about this on the website of Veterinary Circle The Hague.

What is an emergency?

An emergency is a serious medical problem whose treatment cannot wait.

How do you reach a veterinarian in an emergency?

If your animal has a serious medical problem, call your own vet first.

Veterinary practice Laakkwartier: 070-3908908

If he is not present, the answering machine will tell you that you can contact the emergency service. The telephone number is 0900-2226333.

It may be that a telephone consultation is sufficient, but when that is not possible, the veterinarian will have to examine the animal. An appointment will be made for this. Because the veterinarian cannot make visits during the shift, you will have to bring your animal to the practice. If you do not have transportation you can call the animal ambulance. You pay the transport costs to the ambulance staff.

Animal ambulance The Hague: 070-3282828
Animal ambulance De Wijs: 0900-4035009
Wassenaar Animal Ambulance: 070-5117772

What is useful to take along?

When your own veterinarian is not on duty, it is useful to bring the vaccination booklet. If the animal is on medication and / or you have a veterinary report, we recommend that you bring it along.

What are the costs?

The emergency department works during non-regular opening hours. Please note that the rates in the emergency department are higher: Even in an emergency department, you must pay the bill immediately after treatment.

Take cash or debit card with you.
