Change in emergency service from 1 July 2025

Dear customer,

Our practice is part of the Veterinarians Kring Haaglanden, a collaboration of 24 independent veterinary practices. Since 1963, together we have ensured that you can come to us with emergencies outside opening hours.

In order to continue to serve you well and responsibly in the future, the emergency service schedule is changing as of 1 July 2025. Due to the increasing pressure on veterinary medicine and to avoid overburdening vets, we as a Circle have decided that the night emergency service - between 10pm and 9am - will be taken over by AniCura Rijswijk from that date.

What remains as you are used to:

• Between 09:00 and 22:00, seven days a week, you are still welcome to come to us or one of the fellow practices in the Circle in case of emergency. During the day and in the evening, therefore, nothing will change.
• In the evening and at night, the familiar emergency number 0900-2226333 remains available as usual.

Important to know:

• AniCura Rijswijk works in a different way and charges different rates than the vets in our circle.
• In doubt about your animal's health? Then contact our practice in time. Don't wait until just before closing time. Are we closed? Then call the emergency number as soon as possible: 0900-2226333. Again, don't wait until just before 10pm - there is a chance you won't be able to see a vet from our own Circle.

Why this change?

The workload for vets has increased considerably in recent years. To avoid having to stop emergency services altogether, we opted for this collaboration with AniCura Rijswijk. This way, we can continue to help you during the day and in the evening as you are used to, and a safety net is also available at night if really necessary.
